Why does my F-250 cab door not open?
For starters, remove the door panels to look for possible issues. Remember, the cables go bad often, and the plastic pieces that hold the cables are known to break so be very careful when removing the panel – remove all the screws, slightly pull upwards, and the panel comes right off.

The panel/s on the suicide doors are fairly easy to come off as the is no much to them. A few screws and then the panel just lifts out. Now you can reach up in the door and pull on that cable and this will release the top latch. Unhook the cable from the inside of the release handle. Remove them three bolts on the latch.
