02-03 does not have a GEM….I believe its called a VSM (stands to be corrected) located behind the radio on the fire wall….The GEM in the earlier models is located behing the fuse Box under the dash….

Ok what exactly does the GEM module control, And how does it interface with the electronic 4wd. Now the radio wont work either the clock etc light up but the radio wont turn on may be unrelated or maybe part of this spare gem module?
