How to fix Ford Superduty 4WD hubs problem?

If you have no leaks in the vacuum lines that go out to your hubs from the solenoid, then the vacuum pump should shut off in under 45 seconds (once it fully pressurizes).

Can you still use 4WD with manual hubs?

This way in emergencies you still can use 4wd by getting out and manually turning them. If you want manual hubs just cap the vacuum line on the metal nippe on both 4×4 hub bearing assemblies and then cap the vacuum lines. Whala! now you have manual 4×4 hubs (auto position if off) lock is on.
