Can you reset your computer on a Ford Escape?
I have been told that I must reset my computer because of a non responsive system concerning my cellphone being used and other Bluetooth related stuff…How is this done as Ford dealers are very expensive and I know it can be done! Just pull off the battery terminal for 10 or 15 minutes.
What happens when you take off the battery on a Ford Escape?
Just pull off the battery terminal for 10 or 15 minutes. When all power is removed, everything has to reinitialize when you reconnect the power. This means that you’ll lose all saved radio stations, and so forth — but you’ll be starting with a clean slate.
Is the Ford Escape a 2012 or 2013?
Your profile says you have a 2012 Escape. If this is the case, you should check out escape-city.com for the older generation Escapes. This forum is for 2013 and newer Escapes. If you do own a newer Escape, then please ignore this.
