Why is the OBD on my Silverado Sierra not working?
The guy told me his computer can’t connect to the OBD for some reason, so he couldn’t pass me he said it might be a fuse or smth. Truck is 07 NBS Sierra CrewCab w/ 120 K miles. I checked the manual, but could not see anything in fuse section about OBD.
Where is the power on the OBD port?
The service manual says pin 16 is the power on the obd port,the schematic shows it is tied to the cig lighter port,the one on the right.It is hot all the time,where the other 2 power ports are only hot with key on. Yours is an 06,so may be different.Maybe a place to start tho. Good luck!!

I haven’t checked to see what fuse exactly, but normally a fuse for either the cig lighter, aux outlet or radio tie into the OBD ports power as well. would that fuse be in under hood fuse box? or side of dash inside the truck?
