What does it mean when your thermostat screen goes blank?
When your screen is blank, it could indicate you need to replace the batteries. It that is the case, you typically need AA alkaline or 3-volt lithium batteries, but see what type is currently powering the thermostat and simply replace them. Most thermostats display a low-battery symbol when the juice is running low.

If you still have the blank screen then I recommend checking your power. These systems require very specific power and have a 15 amp fuse that runs to the screen and a 35 amp fuse that runs to the control module. Confirm the fuses are good and 12V power is getting to the units.
