Why does my Ford Expedition make a lot of noise?

Every so often, if the engine mount or something similiar fails, the engine or tranny or whatever will rattle around. You won’t notice any driving differences but it will end up shaking your catalytic converter and exhaust assembly around, this tends to make a lot of noises, with vibration from time to time.
