Why does my 7.3L diesel engine go away at low rpm?

Fixed that but not sure if it caused something else. At interstate speeds it feels like it goes away or above 1800 rpm but that is when turbo is spooled up. It has a slow rpm climb not sure if that’s how the 7.3 operates.
