Why does my car not go over 3000rpm?
I put the scanner just in case & it comes out clean no code it drives :driver: but with no power:BW: . any ideas of what going on thanks :help: . No codes stored in memory?? love2smoketires baby!! when you try to rev it in neutral, are you flooring it or increasing the throttle gradually? love2smoketires baby!!
Why does my Sport Trac not go over 3000rpm?
I have 2004 ford sport trac that I just purchased & the eng sound very good it has 43000 miles. the problem is that it has no power & when you have it on park or neutral the rpm will not go over 3000rpm. there is no code or eng ligth on.
Why does my explorer lose power during acceleration?
My explorer seems to bog down during acceleration, mainly on days when it’s raining or when it’s hot outside. Had this problem last year and replaced the spark plugs and wires which seemed to solve the problem, however a year later it is happening again. Any suggestions on what it could be? helpful?
Is it possible to take the engine off at 3, 000 rpm?
You can take it off with a programer. But its there for a reason and its a good thing.:hy: Mine WILL rev over 3,000 RPM’s – it just starts coughing at 85 mph and shuts down at about 90 mph. I found that out the first time I got mad at an old woman doing 25 mph on the highway and passed her. 6,000 RPM’s when it downshifted, in nothing flat!
