Keyless ignition and the chime kept going while driver’s door was open and instrument panel said to turn off the motor. It already was off, of course. I read the answers here and elsewhere to the problem. It seems when my wife took it to the car wash, they somehow switched the headlights from automatic to on.

Why does the door chime go off when the car is in Park?
The key is out of the ignition, the car is in park, and the lights are off. The door ajar light isn’t flashing either. I’ve also checked the trunk to make sure it’s latched.
