What is the Ford Ranger Anti theft system reset procedure?
Once it blinks start the engine and the vehicle will now be reset. If the engine does not start then You did not turn the key on and off quickly enough. The car is not starting. Flashing red light key shows that it is locked. How can we solve this? How to disconnect the slarm system.?

When does the theft light go out on a Ford Ranger?
Btw, the theft light is supposed to blink every 2 seconds when key is out (as deterrent to thieves) , and should go out after it starts or in the start position longer than 2 seconds. My light would blink with the key out, but when I was in the start position it would stay on solid. I could crank my engine (ree-ree-ree-ree) but it would not start.
