My experience with drums and rotors mounted on a spindle at the rolling end of any car is 17 lb/ft while rotating the drum or rotor, backing off the spindle nut one-half turn, then retorquing to approx. 10 lb/ft… Insert the cotter pin, install the dust cover and I’m done.
