Idk about fords, but in one of my Chevys, I had a problem with an electronic 4×4 switch. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes & it “reset”. try rolling at a couple mph put the truck in neutral while still moving and lightly apply the brake pedal. then move the selector to 4 high, it should come out of low range. good luck.
