Why is my Ford Expedition blowing smoke when I start it?
Have you tried letting the key stay in the run position for 2 seconds before you hit the starter? also see if you are blowing smoke out of the exhaust at these hard starts, you could have a leaking injector that is bleeding the fuel pressure off. This would show up as a hard start and some smoke when you start it.

Thanks guys ….well after getting frustratated i decided to go for the ignition switch and “ta-da” that was my problem i unhooked the cables and hooked em back up and with a little charge it started like a pro 35 people found this helpful.
