No heat!! Heater blowing cold air. New thermostat, hoses in and out of core seem hot. Removed glove box. Cable to blend door seems to be in working order. How do you repair a Ford F150 heater?
The black one goes into the cab, the white one comes back out, and hooks to the actuator right there by the heater hoses. This is another repair, that has the plenum off, but shows where the black line finally ends. 56panelford and RexB like this.

The gate is accessed by removing your glove box cover and a few modules behind glove box in front of heater core. you’ll see some 5/16″ screw heads holding the heater core cover in place, may have to remove them to see if gate is actually opening 23 people found this helpful. 56panelford and RexB like this. Same thing happened on my 2004 F250, in my case the vacuum junction box under the hood was cracked. If he were having trouble with his cruise control, I would say reserve can rust through, that is located below the coolant and washer tank behind the driver’s head light inside the core support.
