Is there a spark until you let off the start button?
(Even jump starting still no spark until I let off) Carbs have been went over 5 times by me (Have been baptized in the Church Of Clean) new intake boots, throttle shaft seals, plugs etc..checked stand switch, clutch switch, cleaned start switch, cleaned starter + brushes (helped it turn over much smoother and quick).
Why is there no spark in my ignition?
An ignition module requires some type of external input in order to activate. If your vehicle stalls unexpectedly during operation and will not start again, it is likely because of loose or corroded electrical connections in the ignition module. In this case, check the switch, clean oxidized terminals, and replace broken wires if necessary.
Is there a spark when the starter is released?
No spark while cranking over with electric starter…however when releasing start button sparks one time only. Coil and stator already replaced. Open to any suggestions….I am thinking it has a bad ground somewhere but can’t find anything.

Try starting without pushing starter button (connect wired across the starter solenoid). Check amp draw of your starter. If it’s over-amping, might be robbing all available power. Not probably but maybe. I’d say its upstream of your plugs if they ALL exhibit the same issue. NOt battery if it’s new and same symptoms with the old battery.

Why does my car have no spark when I start it?
As a result, This occurs after the ignition coil or module gets too hot. Furthermore, it could correct itself after the engine module cools. In some cases, a bad ignition coil will result in the vehicle not starting it all. A Bad Rotor Or Distributor Cap (cracks or carbon tracks that are allowing the spark to short to ground).
