I can turn the car off and something resets and it will blow cold air again until it switches back to hot. Na donce it switches to hot it stays there.

Put a shade screen in the window, crack the windows, and keep the console as cool as possible and for the meantime we will see if that helps. I’m leaning towards that it will not, because it will be blowing cold air while I’m driving for a while and then switches to heat.
