Why is my left turn signal on my truck not working?

My left side wire for trailer on truck has no power. Chased. Itfytther back lookd like ot runs further in to truck. How can i figure this out? It is possible that there is a blown fuse or relay related to the tow package wiring that is causing the problem. Use the vehicle owners manual to find the locations.

Why is my trailer not getting any power?

If you aren’t getting any power on the wires going into the connector, then the connector itself isn’t the issue. There’s something going on with the factory trailer wiring. Since all the fuses are good there’s likely a short somewhere on the wiring.

What does it mean when your trailer has no power?

If you are not showing power on that connector then you have a wiring issue somewhere in the truck that needs to be tracked down by inspecting the wiring and seeing if you have something pinched, broken, or disconnected. What should I do if my trailer lights are not working?

Open them up and make sure there is no white or green corrosion causing an issue inside the connectors. If so clean them out or replace the connectors with new ones. If the problem is not found in the connectors, you will need to follow the trailer wiring and check all of the grounds for all of the lights and the trailer connector.

Check to see if the vehicle ground wire is stacked with additional wires on a screw. If so, consider moving it to a screw of its own or at least move it to the stack bottom. If the wiring is corroded beneath the insulation, replacing the entire wire is prudent. At a bare minimum, the last several feet of corroded wire should be replaced.
