Without pressing the brake, press the start button once then wait a sec for it to get to on mode (this turns on all electronics), then press again to turn off. It won’t work if you just press twice in a row.

The TLX Im sure has some built in safety devices that all have to communicate before the car will start. Or just a gremlin. I do have two fobs. The other one was in the house.
