How to fix Dorman automatic transmission shift indicator cable?
All you need is a 7/32″ socket wrench and the ability to contort yourself to get your hands up under the dash while lying on your back. Also, an assistant to hold a light would be helpful. To show where it broke, I hot-glued the bracket back together and stuck it back on the metal post to which it was attached – see Photo.
