In other words if they are trying to lift up and initially start and then go back to being deployed then you most likely have debris in your scissor lifting mechanism. Why does my power board retract when I open the door?
Open the door and the running board goes halfway down and then retracts immediately. My powerboards do this when ever a small pebble or dried hardened road mud gets between the hinges. When mine start doing this a get out the hose and brush and clean them up and re-lube if needed and problem goes away. Did you figure it out?
