This last time on August 24, 2015 I contacted Ford roadside assistance to tow it to the closest Ford dealership to find out what was wrong. Turns out the shifter was defective and as a result it drained the battery. It cost me $672. 39 to replace the shifter and the battery; which is a lot of money when your out of work/retired with health issues.
