Vehicle has been making clunking noises from the front end when turning the steering. It started with probably 25K miles and has become worse over time. Over the past two months, the problem has magnified, with the sound becoming greater. Twice over the past week, my steering locked up while turning.

Have noticed the popping noise when turning the steering to the right and only occurs when the car is not in movement. Will take to the dealership to check and see how much this will cost. Amazed to see others facing the same issue and nothing has been done by Ford to fix it.
Is there a recall on 2013 Ford C Max?
As with many complaints listed in forums outside of the NHTSA my 2013 c max is experiencing the same steering issues that have been resolved in other Ford models under recall 15s18. The electric steering rack needs to be replaced at an approximate cost of $2,000.
