Is there a vibration in the engine at 2, 000 rpm?

But at 2,000 rpm, regardless of speed, there’s a reasonably loud noise, much like the sound strapping makes on a lorry on a motorway, but then reduces considerably after about 2.2k rpm. No feeling of vibration, just the noise. No funky smells either. No noise when reving the engine out of gear.

What does hearing a high pitched vibration mean?

A Sign from Spirit Guides/ Angels. Hearing a high-pitched frequency or vibration can also indicate the presence of your spirit guides, angels, as well as other spiritual beings.

Is it a humming noise or a vibration?

I hear the exact same humming everyone of you have described. A humming/vibration can be a million things, but there is one that I can think of that comes somewhat close to a droning noise and that is when the Eco kicks in; where I suspect MDS is activated.

Why does my car make a weird noise under load?

Hmm, based upon feedback, due to the condition only occuring under load at specific RPM, the likely culprit is powertrain. Doesn’t sound wooshy or sucking like a turbo or induction, respectively. Mine doesn’t sound whoosy. Like a fog horn, but quiet. It’s not escaping air, it’s resonance.

When does the noise in the engine go away?

The noise remains constant with revs. As soon as I’m out of the range of approximately 1900 to 2200 rpm it “almost” disappears. It probably has gone after about 2200 rpm but my mind could just be retaining the noise, if that makes sense?!
