Why are the dome lights blinking on my Ford Escape?
Not open for further replies. I have a 2010 Ford Escape. Several weeks ago, the control panel flashed “Tire Pressure Monitor Fault” and the dome lights started blinking continuously. I took it to a mechanic who checked the tire pressure in each wheel and the message disappeared (at least until we were down the road a mile or two).
Why is the tire pressure light still on on my Ford Escape?
I agree with the others. If you are certain that all 4 tires are at the correct pressure by verifying with a tire pressure gauge and the TPMS light is still on, then the primary suspect is that one of the sensors in one of the wheels is faulty. I’m thinking that the dealer would have the proper scan tool to determine which one is the culprit.
Why are the lights blinking on my tire pressure monitor?
The message has come back on; however, the dome lights now blink continuously. When I took it back to them, they said they had never had this problem before, did some research, and told me that they could not figure it out.

Why does my tire pressure sensor keep blinking?
When it got cold we noticed that the TPMS light started blinking for about a minute and then it will stay on solid. After driving for a while and gets warm the light will go away for a few minutes. I suspected low battery in the tire pressure sensor.
Why does the TPMS warning light keep flashing?
Faulty TPMS is another common reason for TPMS warning light flashing, but the cause may not be so obvious. On direct-TPMS systems, this may indicate a dead TPMS sensor battery, faulty TPMS sensor, or a faulty TPMS module.
