What should I look for during a walk through?
During your walk-through, take your time, be very observant, and pay attention to detail. As you walk around, take photos and videos of any damage you see. You should also take notes on your phone or a piece of paper. As a good rule of thumb, you want to make sure all the appliances work and are clean.
Why is check in and check out not available to all?
The saved update isn’t actually available to everyone else, so if a checked out file is due for a time-sensitive presentation, for example, only the most recent version will be available. This is another reason why I will always push for co-authoring so you don’t have to worry about that!
