Ha!! my 2014 F150 was doing the same thing. Some times it would start and some times all it would do is crank over. I just checked #27 fuse under the hood and sure enough, it had been getting hot and melting plastic over the connection on one side of the fuse. Guess that explains why sometimes it would start and sometimes it wouldnt.

My 2014 f150 will crank but won’t start. The steering to press down. Truly at a loss as to what the issue may be. Any help would be appreciated. Also, the power seems to be working fine with all electrical inside cab. Isn’t your truck under warranty? Is the radiator fan on a 2012 Ford F150 FX4?
I have the same issue as well. I have a 2012 Ford F150 Fx4. There is a fan noise coming from my engine compartment that is really loud. The fan kicks on and off. Also when I am stopped or moving really slow my truck is blowing cold air even though I have the theromstat set on heat.
