Why is my Ford Escape fan making a noise?
Fan was loud at max but normally didn’t vibrate. Now it’s very noticeable. I don’t know if this is related but my right side defroster vents spewed out some debris not long before I noticed the vibration for the first time. It’s like the system ingested some junk and knocked the blower fan out of balance. Mouse nest?

If your interior AC/ Heat fan (blower motor) is making noise like a card in a bicycle spoke, then you probably just need to clean out the blower motor which is easy and free. Leaves and debris gets in the blower motor and make a clicking noise when the fan hits the leaves.
How to check for noise from blower motor?
Refer to WSM, Section 412-00. 4. Using a shop vacuum remove any foreign material or debris. Remove any remaining foreign material or debris with a cloth using only soap and water. a. Do not use other cleaning products as they may damage system components. 5. Inspect inlet air duct assembly for damage. Refer to WSM, Section 412-00.
What should I do if my car fan is making noise?
It’s a good idea to get a garden hose with a spray nozzle and spray that down very well, then reach in with shop rags and make sure the walls and floor are clean. I had to do that with one of my cars after a rodent stored dog food in the blower cage.
