I have a 2018 Ford Fusion with the trunk opening by itself. It only happens when I use the number keypad. Have a 2015 Ford Fusion SE. Truck pops open randomly also. Have taken it to our local dealership and they were unable to help or provide and solutions. Wish I knew how to file a complaint. We are having to take our car in for a 3rd recall repair.

Trunk makes terrible noise when using interior button or remote to open it, will then need to be slammed repeatedly in order to get it to latch. Once closed to dash still says it is open. Replaced latch assembly, dash still states trunk is open….
