Why are my speakers pulsing?

Why are my speakers pulsing?

The thumping is probably a power supply issue. Try disconnecting the speakers from the PC and short the three input connections (tip, ring, and sleeve) on the input jack together. If you still have the thumping, the issue is due to something within the speaker/amps.

How do I know if my speaker coil is bad?

Subwoofers and speakers mostly blow when you deliver very high power or if they continue to work for a long time above the RMS power. When you hear a distorted sound or no sound at all, it indicates that subwoofer is blown. You can also know this by touching the voice coil if it is moving at its place or not.

All I could do was turn the volume all the way down to make it stop. Also, with the volume turned completely down, anytime i touched the screen it would make the loud static noise again for a split second.
