The vehicle was taken to lewis Ford (888-314-4824, located at #3373 north college, fayetteville, ar 72703) where it was diagnosed that the steering gear box needed to be repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall.

Wires out at bottom of tilt and in at top of tilt range. Removed connector part # e6db-14489-da. 3 connector pin retainers fell out and were recovered.
