The VIN is 1FMCU9GX8DUD70681. I checked the battery terminals and other electrical connections in the engine bay and all appeared tight. I couldn’t find a similar problem by searching the forum threads. The overall unreliability of this Escape has me unwilling to get very far from home with it.
