I know for a fact there was a severe lack of training on the CVT’s but it is up to Ford to provide the training for the mechanics and the dealership to send them. They recently had a big push to get all the transmission techs to the CVT school. These classes are not taught on premises and are typically 2-4 hours away for the techs.
