What kind of AC does a Ford F-150 have?
The diagnosis was the ac high side was 425psi low 50. They tested the system recharged it and replaced the ac evaporator expansion valve. It worked fine for 9 months same problem fans not shutting off and no ac.

Thermostat could not be operating properly. The sensor monitoring the coolant temperature could need replacing. The fan should come on when the AC is turned on. Just took mine to the dealer, 2011 F150 FX4 5.0L, and the freon was low in the AC system. They evacuated the system and refilled it and the fans stopped kicking right into high!

If the radiator fan is not working, it’s a serious problem. Just because the radiator fan is not on does not mean that it is not working. They are designed to only run when needed. If your F150 is running hot, and the fan is not running we’ve laid out the most common causes of this issue below.

Unplug the cooling fans. Remove the high speed fan relay. With the key on the relay should be getting 2 power pins but no ground pins. If your getting a ground, then unplug the PCM, if your still getting a ground then there is a wire short. If the ground goes away with the PCM unplugged then use a diagnostic tool to monitor the coolanttemp sensors.

HELLO, FOR THE FAN RUNNING ON HIGH ALL THE TIME. CHECK YOUR FRION LEVEL, I JUST FIX A 2016 F150 WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND I RECHARGE THE AC SYSTEM IT WAS LOW AND EVERYTHING WHEN BACK TO NORMAL. CHEEERS.
