Can a Ford Fiesta have an ABS failure?

I too have had this problem. Complete ABS failure with 25000 on the clock and 6 months out of warrenty. 2006 reg Fiesta. I have seen that there are new postings on the web about this problem. Ford offered to pay half of the bill, which I accepted. I am still very interested to hear what is happening generally about this.
