The oil was only changed last week. Just had the car (Ford Focus 1.4CL) tested this morning and its failed the MOT on the emissions plus a blown headlight bulb. The garage is saying its failed the emissions test because the engine isn’t burning the oil properly and so they’re quoting £1500 for it to be rectified.

Just had the Mrs 1.6 Ford Focus Zetec fail on CO emissions on fast idle. The Limit is 0.2% whereas the Focus was showing between 0.57 and 0.46% at fast idle, 0.25 at natural idle.
