It now has nearly 10,000 on the clock. Soon after I bought the car the clutch pedal started sticking down so that it only moved 1/2 inch but the clutch still engaged. Eventually the pedal never returned on its own, I had to lift the clutch pedal up with my foot.

Long story short, they replaced the slave cylinder (which meant taking the gearbox out) and it is now fixed. No more clutch pedal sticking down. I’ve seen a few instructors asking about it in various places, and a lot of normal drivers elsewhere.
