The manual just says 5 quarts for the crankcase. I put 5 quarts in the crank and let the pump move it through the filter and there is still plenty of oil according to the dipstick. I have been doing this for over 4 years now and have not had any problems with low oil. Ok ya that sounds right. I have one more question.
