If I remember correctly, the older mustangs take less oil than the newer (split port) ones. Something like 5.5 or 5.75. I could swear I put in 6 quarts in my car last time… Orange Park, FL. the owner manual says 5. I just sent my mustang on a 25k service at Ford. They used 6 quarts of oil. Mark S. New Member
