If its not an FX4, you have 9″ brakes. Not true. Ranger 10″ drums existed long before any Ranger FX4 did. I can’t speak to every year and model of Ranger ever built. However, from 2001~2009 at least, several options automatically trigger the 10″ drum upgrade.
