- Insert the pin into the factory reset recess located above the switch on the back of the camera.

But ,if the wires are good an you can read the resistance value ,then you have other problem an need to have Trouble codes checked . Just relocated back-up camera to license plate and guide lines now point up toward sky.

Anyone else finding that the guide lines for the rearview camera keep disappearing? I keeping having to go into settings->vehicle->rearview camera to re-activate the “active+fixed” guide lines but then a few drives/ignitions later, it would randomly revert back to no guide lines… My dealer performed a software update.

Why is the rearview camera disappearing on my 2013 escape?
My 2013 Escape with disappearing rearview camera lines (current software version) is in the dealership now to be “fixed”. Not yet sure what they plan to do. I’ll update when I find out. Clearly a bug somewhere..
