I have the same issue on my 2017 3 GT – similar to few posts before. After washing the car with pressure washer, the water somehow get inside the mirror housing and then folding only works partially on the driver side. After drying up / few hours it comes live again and works without issues.

If you fold the mirrors manually once before locking, they stop working with the key fob if it’s the same as older Fords. As for deadlocking on the key, turn the key as far as you can and hold it for a couple of seconds, should hear the deadlocks. I would think those functions are on your dash menu in a newish car though.
