Recently purchased a 2004 GMC 2500HD, 84000 miles on it. Ran like a champ from June to November.. The minute the cold rainy weather came, have now had 5 times the truck completely dead, no start, no click, no fuel pump, Nothing.
Can a 6.6L Duramax crank no start?
Hi I could really use a tip if you could help. I am working on a 2006 6.6 duramax and can’t get it to run. Drove ina couple months ago but ran very poor like a missfire. then stopped running completly. Will start on starting fluid but then stalls when runs out of starting fluid.
Why does my Silverado 2500HD not start up?
No power to the pump. No click of the starter, absolutely no sound of anything starting up at all. Delay has replaced the fuel pump relays, works for a day or two, then go to start it, nothing again. No crank from the starter, no sound of the fuel pump, but power to the dash lights.

Why does my 2005 Chevy 2500 HD not start?
My 2005 Chevy 2500 HD won’t start. Engine won’t turn over with key at all. Batteries are hot. You can take a power probe and shoot 12v to starter solenoid wire and it will crank and run fine. I traced that wire back to the fuse panel under the hood on the driver’s side. There is a CRANK fuse as well as a starter relay in that panel.

Are there any issues with the Duramax fuel pump?
The new injectors available from us and others are updated and do not have the cracking issue. Fuel Filter Housing Oring Leaks – The Duramax fuel system does not have any sort of low pressure fuel pump pushing fuel to the engine from the tank. The injection pump sucks all the fuel from the tank.
