Why are my wind mirrors not folding up?
Mirrors not folding anymore.. So I hope this is something silly like a manual switch I’ve accidentally hit but noticed recently, my wind mirrors aren’t folding up on lock anymore, wtf is going on? Also, hi, I’m back. Did anyone miss me? > Check the side mirror switch – if it’s in the middle “Auto” position, mirrors will fold when locking car.
Why does my driver’s side mirror not fold?
Driver’s side mirror would not fold / unfold consistently after a proper dossing of water – heavy rain at motorway speeds and a wash with a hosepipe (not jet wash). The car was in at the stealer’s today and they are ordering a new ‘control unit’ under warranty – no questions asked.

No they are a seperate option. I have them, if you have them there is a small button next to the mirror adjuster, one press closes them, another opens them. Are there power folding mirrors that will not retract?
Power folding mirrors won’t retract completely or vice versa. Stopping halfway or nearly at the end. What are the options? Cannot bring to dealer, time is up, will have to pay… A lot. :smile2: What are the options? Maybe they can be recalibrated for a few bucks…? You could deactivate them so they don’t fold anymore.

How do you fold a rear rearview mirror?
