O/D light refers to improper gear ratio, take pan off check for broken band and adjusting anchor in pan. The overdrive light on my girlfriend’s 2004 Escape started blinking yesterday. I told her leave it parked, & next time she drives it to take it to a great transmission shop up the street from me.
