How do you take the back seat out of a s550 Mustang?

  1. Press in on the release tabs at the center of each seat cushion.
  2. Once released, bring the seat bottom up and then remove it from the car.
  3. Go ahead and pull both seatbacks down.
  4. Loosen and remove the (2) 15mm nuts and 15mm bolt.
  5. Remove either seatback from the hinge and then remove it from the car.

It will release on that one side. When you do the other side be sure that you haven’t pushed the seat back down on the first side and re-latched it again. Then the seat will easily pull up and out. At that point you’ll be able to see the bolts for the back portion of the seat. Remove those and pull the back up to remove.
