Is there a fuse for the tow haul button on a 2005 gmc sierra?
this is no fuse for the tow/haul mode switch on the shifter. the shift lever with the tow/haul button has two real small wires that comeout the botton of the shift lever. one of these wires is broken. pull the rubber boot back at the bottom of the shifter, at column.

Why is the tow / haul button not working?
Re: Tow/haul button not working. As stated above, it is the wire from the switch in the steering column that has developed an open in it. I believe there is a thread on this site that explains how to replace the switch. If not I’m sure you can google it and someone has posted a video on line of how to do it.
