Is there an odometer display on my tach?

All of the guages work except the DIC display. All of the idiot lights in the tach light up when the ignition is first turned on. The gas guage works. Everything seems to work except the DIC display. So I sourced a switch from a used auto parts yard and made sure the codes on the back of the switch matched. When the switch was installed, apparently the VIN information from the used switch (thru the drivers door control module) was sent to the cluster, so the truck who’s switch I installed didn’t have the programming.

There is nothing externally that can cause that if the power and ground are good which is confirmed by the the other gauges operating properly… the internal dic module is going to the the issue and the cluster will require repair or replacement.
