Is it a VPOD or a turbo in a Detroit 14L?

Is it a VPOD or a turbo in a Detroit 14L?

If at 700-800, it will be a vpod and possibly a turbo. We change them out all the time. We change both just to be safe. Both if not one, will fail eventually. Pay upfront or pay double with roadside. Jansito Thanks this. 1.Vpod changed. Same thing. 2.Crank, Camshaft sensors changed. 3. All sensors on intake manifold changed.

What kind of fuel injector wire do I Need?

The engine studders and has terrible rough idle at like 550rpm. I did a compression check, the engine was cold and it was 120 across the board. The engine has 1500 miles on a 6 bolt swap. (8:3:1 blocked decked) My fuel management is safc, 450inj, afpr aeromotive 1:1, 255lfp. The car was running fine until I swapped out turbo and injectors.

What to do if turbo actuator is leaking?

Have someone turn on key with some air in system and watch turbo actuator, it should cycle up and then down. throw some soapy water on actuator with engine running at high idle (1000 RPM or better)..sounds like actuator is leaking…also check wires at plug to VPOD that controls turbo. Good Luck!! So, here is a little update.

Where is the pintle on a fuel injector?

The part you see in the middle of the completely decapped fuel injector is the pintle. DO NOT TOUCH THIS WITH A GRINDER, YOU WILL RUIN THE INJECTOR! You just want to grind off the friction weld that holds the pintle cap on and nothing more.
