I have a 3 week old HP Envy x360 15″, with no additional hardware, that runs really hot when the power cord is attached. The fan is on constantly, as soon as I plug it in, and the left side of the keyboard gets almost too hot to touch (I can smell how hot it is), which can’t be good. It is much cooler when running on the battery.

Is the C-15 engine idled at 1000 rpm?
If you read your manual the c-15 should be idled at 1000 rpm if has to sit longer than 5 min. I have seen this before on a few Mack trucks in Australia.
